  6. elbanydaer says:

@kalkeikuu Stress itself will cause that.

  7. elbanydaer says:

@kalkeikuu Believe it or not, your kids are not the source of your stress, it is you who is causing it yourself. Perhaps to learn to meditate and taking a gentler approach to child raising can help. If you see your kids as flowers that are permitted to grow and live, without you interfering too much, it will be much less stress of the whole family. Learn about Wu Wei. The best to you!

    Great!
If you have rheumatism or fibromyalgia, and elev. blood sed rate, you can suspect adrenal fatigue. Don’t use cortisone, gold shots or MTX. Listen to what the Dr. Angela says and also change your diet to a totally healthy way of eating. Also take powdered turmeric & powdered ginger in water. (It does not taste good, but it really calms the flair ups). Sip on sib. ginseng tea all day. Take boswellia capsules and also borretsh oil. You will be surprised how the rheumatism flairs calm down.

    LarryCook,

How can my adrenals be replenished and repaired if I can’t get enough sleep BECAUSE of adrenal fatigue?

Catch 22 right? What do I do to help me sleep? I think my cortisol levels are high at night causing interrupted sleep and sleep which isn’t very deep.

    Thanks. Great accurate info.
One thing that works for me is using anywhere from 5,000 to 15,000 mg of Vitamin C powder (with protein and green powders) in the morning.
Quitting coffee helps but is hard to do, . . especially if you need to function and can’t take the time to heal without coffee. If I exercise (walking or biking for about 2 hours) I can get very tired the next day. But I don’t get tired while exercising.
What are some other good supplements to use?

  19. LarryCook333 says:

@CheefConcern Of course there can be many philosophical underpinnings to the meaning of the word “stress,” but for all practical purposes, most people equate the phrase “stress” with difficulty handling day-to-day activities due to any number of factors, usually associated with the relationships they have (even if that relationship is with money-or lack thereof). Your definition, when qualified, works, but most people don’t use that as their intrinsic definition of the word.

  20. CheefConcern says:

Stress doesn’t only equal emotional reactions to ‘stressors’ in life. It can also include the reactions that your body and organs produce when their homeostatic balance is disturbed. For instance, consuming a high amount of food additives and environmental toxins really taxes your liver. It kicks up its metabolic activity like crazy, causing it to be ‘stressed’. So maybe I would define stress as abnormally high metabolic output?? What do people think?

  21. FletcherHabit says:

Licorice root is also helpful for cortisol recovery but do not use long term (beyond 6 weeks and dont get DGL you natural licorice root)

Also eating every 3 hours and never skipping breakfast. Youre trying to give your adrenals a rest not make them work harder by keeping your blood sugar from crashing. Each meal consists of healthy fat , some protein, and complex carb- brown rice or natural oats (not processed quick oats)

  22. Abzstar111 says:

@DerekChaunessey Your body can be stressed also by crap in our waters, pestisites in our food and depending on how active your immune system is these all tax the adrenal glands hard.

  23. kalkeikuu says:

Can extreme adrenal fatigue cause shortness of breath or asthma?

  24. kalkeikuu says:

My adrenal fatigue is so bad due to high stress from kids & high sugar diet, that now I am close to type 2 type diabetes. I want to fix this problem, but I don’t know how to NOT stress when my kids stress me out. My stress is so much that I actually have panic attacks. Help :0
