In patients with hypocalcemia, these signs (of latent tetany) may be positive before patients develop the fully-fledged picture of hypocalcemia. Trousseau’s sign is more sensitive than the facial twitchings of Chvostek (94% versus 29%). Video Rating: 5 / 5
