In this video, Patrick Aubourg, MD of INSERM in France, and the co-author of the gene therapy paper published in the Journal Science, reveals their successful results treating 2 young boys with adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). ALD is the disease highlighted in the movie “Lorenzo’s Oil.” The Stop ALD Foundation played a pivotal role in making this trail happen.
